      Hi Heather,
Well, the little zebras took some trial and error to get the head shape right. The outside has black non periels for the nostrils, candy coated sunflower seeds for ears, black licorice for the mane and then black gel for the eyes and stripes. That’s it. 🙂

Hi Leila, Well, I feel your pain. I had the same issue when I made them too. In the end, I used a caramel for the face. I took one soft caramel, put in the microwave (probably on defrost) for a few seconds until it becomes pliable, then quickly roll it out flat. If necessary, roll it out between two pieces of parchment paper to prevent sticking. Once it’s thin enough, I cut out the entire face piece using one round cookie cutter, then cut into it with other cutters or an exacto – to be honest, I can’t remember exactly. Then put on the eyes and mouth with glitter gel. I hope that helps!!
